About this verb#
- Class 6b: monosyllabic stem with end-stress in the present (жру, жрёшь, жрут). Past has feminine stress shift: жрал, жрало, жрали but feminine жрала. Crude/vulgar synonym for есть, used of animals or as a coarse term for human eating.
