About this verb#
- Class 11b: short stem with -ьё- in the present: шью, шьёшь, шьют. End-stress in the present, but in the past stress stays on the stem throughout (шил, шила, шило, шили, with no feminine shift unlike лить/пить). Aspect partner сшить.
