About this verb#
- Class 11b: short stem with -ьё- in the present: пью, пьёшь, пьют. Past has feminine stress shift typical of monosyllabic verbs: пил, пило, пили but feminine пила. Aspect partner выпить carries the obligatory вы- stress on the prefix.
