About this verb#
- Class 16a, the пить/бить/лить/шить family. Present-future inserts о after the prefix to break the consonant cluster and forms the soft -шь- stem (сошью, сошьёшь). The bare infinitive is monosyllabic сшить with no vowel inserted. Imperative сшей.
