About this verb#

  • Prefixed perfective from бить with при-. Class 11b, where the -ить infinitive hides the stem -бь- (with soft sign), revealed in the future: прибью, прибьёшь, прибьют. End-stress throughout. The imperative is прибей with the -ей ending typical of monosyllabic stems. Aspect partner прибивать (Class 1a) takes the long -ива- suffix.
