About this verb#
- Class 16b with end-stress: живу, живёшь, живут. Past stress shifts in the monosyllabic style: жил / жило / жили but feminine жила. Prefixed perfectives carry specific meanings (прожить = 'live through, spend living'; пережить = 'survive, outlive').
