About this verb#
- Class 6b: monosyllabic stem with г → ж mutation only in 2sg-2pl (лжёшь, лжёт, лжём, лжёте); the г is preserved in 1sg лгу and 3pl лгут. End-stress. Past has feminine stress shift: лгал, лгало, лгали but feminine лгала. More formal than the synonymous врать.
