About this verb#
- Perfective of лгать (the imperfective is the bare simplex). Class 7b with г/ж alternation: 1sg солгу and 3pl солгут keep г, middle persons take ж (солжёшь, солжёт). End-stress throughout the present-future; past feminine takes ending stress (солгала). Selects dative of the person lied to. Stylistically harsher than the more neutral врать.
