About this verb#
- Class 8b -чь verb with the classic two-stem alternation: -г- before consonant endings (зажгу, зажгут), -жж- before vowel endings (зажжёшь, зажжёт). Past masculine зажёг with ё; the other forms drop ё and add end-stress: зажгла, зажгло, зажгли.
