About this verb#
- Perfective of умирать. Class 9b: the -ереть verbs (умереть, запереть, стереть) lose the second -е- in the present-future, leaving the consonant cluster -мр- (умру, умрёшь). Past masculine drops -л (умер) and pulls stress to the prefix in all forms except the feminine (умерла).
