About this verb#
- Prefixed perfective reflexive of -брать ('take/gather') with со-. Class 6b with end-stress in the future (соберусь, соберёшь, соберутся) and the typical 'fleeting' о in собр- (vs. compound stem собер-). The past is mobile: собрался but собралась, собралось (b-pattern). Common idiom: 'be about to' + inf.
