About this verb#
- Class 5a 'gotcha': looks like a -ать verb but the stem ends in ш and conjugates in the 2nd conjugation: слышу, слышишь, слышит, слышат. Fixed stem stress, no mutation (the ш is already there). Aspect partner: услышать.
