About this verb#
- Prefixed perfective of идти. Present-future on -йд- with end-stress (пройду, пройдёшь); past suppletive (прошёл, прошла). The passive past participle пройденный, common in 'kilometres travelled', pulls stress to the prefix, a notable exception. Hugely polysemous: spatial (pass by), temporal (time passed), procedural (the meeting took place), academic (we studied this).
