About this verb#
- Perfective of отвлекать. Class 8 -чь verb with к/ч alternation: к in 1sg отвлеку and 3pl отвлекут, ч elsewhere (отвлечёшь). Past masculine отвлёк has the bare stem with ё. Selects accusative of the person + 'от + genitive' of what they're distracted from.
