About this verb#
- Class 4c -ить with т → ч mutation in 1sg (оплачу). Stress c-pattern. Important: оплатить takes the bill / purchase / service directly in the accusative without preposition (оплатить счёт), whereas заплатить needs за + accusative (заплатить за счёт).
