- Class 1a impf with long -ива- imperfective stem and fixed stem stress (оплачиваю). Aspect partner оплатить (Class 4c) has shifting c-stress and т → ч mutation in the я-form (оплачу, оплатишь); note the impf already shows the mutated ч.
