About this verb#
- Class 4c -ить, no consonant mutation (р stays), c-stress: end-stress in 1sg (закурю), stem-stress from 2sg (закуришь). Two readings: 'light a single cigarette' (one-off) and 'take up smoking' (start the habit); the latter requires no object.
