Perfective verbs form a simple future that takes present-tense endings but describes a completed action.

  I wish you a speedy recovery!

• После операции он выздоровел за две недели.

  After the surgery he recovered in two weeks.

• Perfective with вы- prefix: stress moves to вы- in ALL forms (выздоровею, выздоровел). The вы- override is one of the most reliable rules in Russian. Secondary imperfective выздоравливать (Class 1a) keeps its own stress pattern (выздоравливаю) since вы- is not stressed when -ива- is present.
