• Class 1a impf with long -ива- stem and fixed stem stress (выдерживаю), where вы- here is unstressed (this is the imperfective). Aspect partner выдержать carries the вы- stress override and drops -ива- (Class 5b, like держать, but prefix-stressed throughout).
