• Perfective of видеть with у- prefix ('catch sight of / spot'). Inherits видеть's Class 5a 'gotcha' paradigm: -еть infinitive but 2nd-conjugation endings, д → ж mutation only in the я-form (увижу but увидишь, увидит, увидят). Fixed stem stress.
