- Class 1a with fixed stem stress (удочеряю, удочеряешь, удочеряют). Aspect partner удочерить (Class 4b) has end-stress: удочерю, удочеришь. Specifically 'adopt a daughter'; cf. усыновлять 'adopt a son'.
