About this verb#
- Class 4b regular -ить verb with fixed end-stress (спешу, спешишь, спешат). Two senses share the paradigm: human subject = 'hurry' («Я спешу на поезд»), clock subject = 'be fast / run ahead' («Часы спешат на пять минут»). Aspect partner поспешить.
