About this verb#
- Prefixed perfective of следить with про- (perdurative/'all the way through'). Class 4b with end-stress throughout (прослежу, проследишь, проследят), with д → ж mutation in the 1sg (прослежу). Government: за + Inst ('watch over/ensure'). The secondary imperfective прослеживать exists alongside the simplex base следить.
