About this verb#
- Reflexive Class 4c with д → ж mutation in the я-form (произвожусь) and shifting c-stress: end-stressed 1sg → stem-stressed rest (производится). Used overwhelmingly as the impersonal-passive of производить: «здесь производится ремонт» 'repairs are carried out here'.
