- Reflexive Class 1a with long -ива- imperfective stem and fixed stem stress (придерживаюсь). Government: + Gen, meaning 'adhere to / hold to' (придерживаться мнения, правил). Quasi single-aspect; the rare pf придержаться is hardly used.
