About this verb#
- Perfective of подвергать. Class 3a with fixed stem stress and a tricky past: the -ну- suffix drops in the masculine (подверг, not *подвергнул) but stays in feminine/neuter/plural (подвергла). Double-case construction: accusative + dative ('subject X to Y').
