About this verb#
- Reflexive perfective of оставаться. Class 15a like its non-reflexive cousin стать: present-future -стан- (останусь, останешься), stem-stressed. The dative-of-possession 'have left' uses an existential frame: у меня осталось три рубля 'I have three roubles left'.
