About this verb#
- Class 4c: same paradigm as ходить with об- prefix ('go around'). Shifting c-stress and д → ж mutation in the я-form: обхожу (end-stressed) → обходишь, обходят (stem-stressed). Perfective partner обойти is built from идти + об- + й (the й connector emerges where the prefix joins the root).
