About this verb#

  • Perfective of обижать. Class 5a -еть with д → ж mutation in 1sg (обижу, note: only 1sg, despite outwardly looking class 4) and fixed stem stress on оби-. The pair is irregular because the imperfective is обижать with -жа- showing the same alternation but throughout.
