About this verb#
- Suppletive perfective of начинать: the imperfective stem -чин- gives way to the present-future stem -чн- (начну, начнёшь). The past tense displays the canonical начать pattern: начал / начала / начало / начали with feminine end-stress only. The passive past participle начатый is in active modern use.
