About this verb#
- Directional verb of motion paired with летать (non-directional). Class 5b 'gotcha': -еть infinitive but 2nd-conjugation endings with end-stress, т → ч mutation in the я-form only: лечу but летишь, летит, летят. Aspect partner: полететь (ingressive 'take flight').
