About this verb#
- Reflexive perfective of кончаться, used for events, supplies and processes that 'come to an end'. Realistically third-person only because subjects are inanimate. Class 4a, fixed stem stress on кон- (no 1sg mutation since stem ends in -ч-). The 'mode' in which it ended (chem) goes in the instrumental.
