About this verb#

  • Class 1a with fixed stem stress (вынимаю, вынимаешь, вынимают) and a long -има- imperfective stem. Aspect partner вынуть is famously the only verb in Russian without a root in the dictionary form: its short stem is just вын- (выну, вынешь) with the obligatory вы- stress.
