Perfective verbs form a simple future that takes present-tense endings but describes a completed action.

  I found out about it by chance.

• Ты её не узнаешь — она сильно изменилась.

  You won't recognise her; she has changed a lot.

• Perfective partner of узнавать (impf. of the same root) for the senses 'find out, learn, recognise'. Pairs paradigmatically with знать but with a clearly perfective meaning: a single act of acquiring information or identifying. Regular class 1a stem узна-: present-future endings -ю, -ешь with fixed stem stress.
