About this verb#
- Imperfective of уводить / увести. Class 4c -ить with д → ж mutation in 1sg (увожу, homophonous with the 1sg of увозить); c-stress ending → stem from 2sg. Like all -водить verbs, it implies leading on foot, in contrast with -возить 'transport by vehicle'.
