- Class 1a with fixed stem stress (убиваю, убиваешь, убивают) and a long -ива- imperfective stem. Aspect partner убить has a dramatically shorter stem (у- + бь- root, future убью, убьёшь, убьют, like the -ить → -ью- pattern of пить).
