  I try not to be late.

• Постарайся понять её точку зрения.

  Try to understand her point of view.

• Reflexive Class 1a with fixed stem stress (стараюсь, стараешься, стараются). Aspect partner is the resultative постараться 'make an effort'. Always followed by an infinitive: стараюсь не опаздывать.
