About this verb#
- Reflexive perfective of совершаться. Class 4b reflexive with end-stress in the present-future and no mutation (stem in ш). The verb is formal / literary; colloquial Russian uses случиться or произойти for 'happen'. The 1sg form is essentially never used (events, not speakers, perform this).
