About this verb#
- Perfective of продолжать. Class 4a, fixed stem stress on продолж-, no 1sg mutation (stem already ends in -ж-). Note the asymmetry: imperfective продолжать can take a direct infinitive (продолжать писать), while the perfective продолжить prefers a noun object.
