About this verb#
- Prefixed perfective of идти. The infinitive contracts при- + йти → прийти, but the present-future drops the -й- (приду, придёшь). The past has the irregular ше-/шл- root: пришёл, пришла, пришли. The active past participle is built on the same root, пришедший.
