About this verb#
- Reflexive intransitive perfective of прекратить. Class 4b with т → щ mutation in the 1sg (theoretical прекращусь, rarely used); end-stress 1sg → stem from 2sg. Subjects are 3rd-person abstracts: rain, war, correspondence, conflict 'coming to a stop'.
