- Class 1a with fixed stem stress (поступаю, поступаешь, поступают). Polysemous: 'act / behave' (intransitive) and 'enroll / matriculate' (в + Acc institution). Aspect partner поступить (Class 4c) has shifting c-stress with п → пл mutation in я-form (поступлю → поступишь).
