About this verb#
- Irregular perfective of посылать. Infinitive and past use the -сла- stem (послал), but the present-future is on -шлю/-шлёшь, with completely different consonants. End-stressed throughout the present-future. Note: пошли as a 1sg imperative is also a separate spoken form meaning 'let's go!' (a frozen first-person hortative).
