About this verb#
- Prefixed perfective from -сет- ('settle, stay') with по-. Class 4b, with end-stress throughout (посещу, посетишь, посетят) and т → щ mutation in 1sg (посещу). Passive participle посещённый with end-stressed -ё-. Aspect partner посещать generalizes the щ in the stem. Formal/elevated register; обходить or бывать are more colloquial.
