  We had lunch in a small cafe.

• Сначала пообедаем, а потом пойдём гулять.

  Let's have lunch first and then go for a walk.

• Standard perfective of обедать with prefix по-. Class 1a, completely regular, fixed stem stress. Note that обедать covers the main midday meal: historically lunch in modern Russia but dinner in earlier 19th-century usage.
