About this verb#
- Prefixed perfective reflexive of меняться with по- (single complete exchange). Class 1a -яться with fixed stem stress on -ня- (поменяюсь, поменяешься). Reciprocal: takes either с + Inst (with whom) or just + Inst (what was swapped). The non-reflexive поменять means 'to change' (e.g., a tire).
