Perfective verbs form a simple future that takes present-tense endings but describes a completed action.

  We travelled around Europe before the wedding.

• Дай ребёнку поездить на велосипеде.

  Let the child ride the bike for a bit.

• Delimitative perfective of multidirectional ездить (not unidirectional ехать!). Class 4a with the д→ж mutation in 1sg (поезжу, with the spelling -езж-) and stem stress throughout because of the inner-stem stress carried over from ездить. Hop-around-for-a-while sense, not a single trip.
