About this verb#
- Class 13b: the -ва- suffix is DROPPED in the present-tense conjugation: перестаю, перестаёшь, перестают (not переставаю). End-stress. Aspect partner is the irregular athematic перестать. Always followed by an imperfective infinitive ('stop doing X').
