About this verb#
- Reflexive Class 1a with fixed stem stress (останавливаюсь, останавливаешься…) and a long -ива- imperfective stem. Aspect partner остановиться (Class 4c) has shifting c-stress with в → вл mutation in я-form (остановлюсь → остановишься).
