About this verb#
- Perfective of опускать, the non-reflexive counterpart of опуститься. Class 4b: ст → щ mutation in 1sg (опущу), stress on ending in 1sg then on stem from 2sg. Both 'physically lower' (опустить руку) and 'omit in a text' senses are common.
